Delivery Day

  • Woman directing mover where to put a tablePlease be present on delivery day when the moving truck arrives. It is your responsibility to direct the crew with the placement of furniture and boxes, and check the items off as they are brought in.
  • In the event that you are given a spread of days for possible delivery, the driver may indicate his anticipated day of delivery at the time of loading. However, the date within the spread may change due to circumstances beyond the driver’s control. THEREFORE, YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE DAYS OF THE DELIVERY SPREAD.
  • Unpacking is available upon request at an additional cost. Unpacking includes the emptying of boxes and placing the items on a solid flat surface, then removing the boxes and paper. The crew cannot place or arrange any items on shelves or in cabinets. If you would like this done please let your sales consultant know prior to loading.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK OFF ALL ITEMS ON THE CUSTOMER CHECK-OFF SHEET AS RECEIVED. MISSING ITEMS AND ANY DAMAGED ITEMS SHOULD BE NOTED ON THE CUSTOMER CHECK-OFF SHEET.
